Hello, I would like to inform you hereby about the foreign nationals’ registration and its supervision.

A “temporary visitor” and “resident for private purpose” as well as the foreign delegate invited by the government administration and employed in the inter-governmental agreement organizations, who to reside in Mongolia for more than 30 days is obliged to get registered within 7 working days to the Mongolia Immigration Agency (MIA) just afterwards the entrance day to Mongolia.

Please NOTE if the foreign national does not get registered within the period specified in the law, an individual shall be charged with 250 unit equals to 250’000 tugriks and an entity shall get fined with 2500 unit equals to 2’500’000 tugriks, according to the “Law on Infringement”.
