The “Dream Ice Stadium-2025” (Store Pay Winter Land) project, created to give citizens a winter leisure space, was inaugurated at the Central Stadium on December 26, 2025.

The project includes Ulaanbaatar’s largest open-air ice rink, a snow hill and sledding area for children, heated rest zones, hot-drink and service points, and a fully illuminated leisure area. Organisers say the complex is designed to be family-friendly and suitable for everyday use throughout the winter season.

“The Central Stadium should not only host large events, but also be close to citizens’ daily lives and usable in every season,” said D.Lkhagvadulam, CEO of Central Stadium LLC. She added that the project, developed with community initiative and private-sector support, will encourage children and young people to exercise and reduce screen time during school breaks.

The project’s goals are to:

• Support a healthy and active lifestyle for children and young people;
• Provide family leisure opportunities in the city centre;
• Create a positive environment to help reduce screen addiction; 
• Advance the Central Stadium’s role as a year-round public space.

“Dream Ice Stadium-2025” will be open until March 10, 2026.
